Nusa Dua has a land area of approximately 350 hectares. Dry and non productive land was in the acquisition by the government in the 70s, later developed into a tourism project with a prestigious design and build a comprehensive and integrated as a cultural tourist resort.
The History of Nusa Dua
Nusa Dua Means "Two Island". Nusa means Island and Dua means Two in Bahasa Indonesia. Two of this barren island with no building is allowed to naturally and become one of the places tourists visit.
In 1970 the government established a French consulting company, namely the Société Centrale pour l'outre-Mer Touristique equipment (SCETO) to formulate the master plan is to develop sustainable tourism in Bali.
SCETO plan proposed resort complex on the seashore independent, separate from the main population centers to minimize the impact of tourism on Balinese culture. This proposed site is the Nusa Dua. This is one of the uniqueness of the tourist resort of Nusa Dua, which is built separately from the village Bualu as the primary location of this resort. Resort to the concept of cultural tourism is getting a degree as one of six world's best resorts.

The Most Beautiful Garden In Bali
Nusa Dua Resort Garden is one of the most beautiful garden in Bali. In the main entrance, you could see a very beautiful Balinese building called 'Candi Bentar' which means temple. You can walk around, cycling, or jogging around the garden.

I was born in Bali, and I really love this island. Almost every month I go to Nusa Dua beach to do sun bathing and swim in the beautiful sea. I can say that Nikko Bali is one of the best Hotel in Bali. It has a nice food, an excellent scenery, but for local people it is quite expensive to eat and spent the night there due to exchange rate currencies. The hotel rate is US dollar and 1 USD is about 9200 IDR. So, can you imagine how expensive is it?:)
